Creeping madness, human mind bound by chain

Sleepless countless breathless aimless thoughtless

Imagination shattered, unseen rain

Insanity, cerebral coup de main

Lightless soundless loveless ageless hopeless

Creeping madness, human mind bound by chain

Bright light, dark water do not long detain

Sightless fearless careless lawless faithless

Imagination shattered, unseen rain

Whirling dervish thoughts loosened from the rein

Speechless heartless wordless memoryless

Creeping madness, human mind bound by chain

Stumbling blindly ‘cross broken mind’s terrain

Thoughtless, hopeless, faithless, memoryless.

Imagination shattered, unseen rain.

Deep in broken mind, ride a nightmare’s mane

Senseless mindless lifeless godless endless

Creeping madness, human mind bound by chain

So, some people might think it's a little morbid, but I had a lot of fun writing it!  And I don't, as a rule, like writing poetry.  So yeah.  Poetry.  Fun. >.>
